Celebrity Fight Night...

Josh joined a host of celebrities as part of the 2009 Celebrity Fight Night XV to honor boxing legend Muhammad Ali at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort and Spa in Phonenix, Arizona on Saturday night (28 March).

According to the Celebrity Fight Night website over $52 million has been raised over the past 14 years of celebrity fight nights.

And how's this for an auction prize - Josh donated a dinner for two couples with him at his favorite restaurant in Beverly Hills. The prize also included airfares. There are no reports yet of how much that went for, one can only imagine, but with the money going to such a great cause, I hope it went for heaps.

Although Josh wasn't scheduled to perform, the evening's music director David Foster must've had other ideas and persuaded Josh to take to the stage to sing a duet with Jordin Sparks. They sang a beautiful version of "Bridge Over Troubled Water" which you can watch below.

Yes, No, Maybe...

I for one can't understand why so many people work themselves into a frenzy over who's dating who... (But I must say I've been pleasantly surprised by the fairly positive vibe this has been getting on FoJG.)
Personally, as long as Josh is happy and keeps making great music then I'll be thrilled.

*** Edit -

So now multiple sources are reporting that a statement has been issued by Josh's people that states that although Josh and Katy are very close friends and hang out, they are not a couple.

Waiting, waiting, waiting....

It's been very, very quiet in the land of Josh... No new blog or no news of a web-chat. Let's hope that's a great sign that he's been tucked away in the studio working hard on the new album.

And I'm also wondering what happened to the vlog he did with Placido Domingo, because during the webchat he was told they had approval to post it. Maybe they had some 'technical difficulties' with this as well?

Anway, here's a clip of Josh singing "To Where You Are" in Adelaide, Australia during the "Awake Tour". It was simply beautiful, just Josh singing with the piano as accompaniment. And for a bit of trivia, this is the night I met Josh for the first time...
