It's now been confirmed that Josh will be taking part in at least two more events while in DC over the coming days.
On Monday 19th, Josh will team up with Martin Luther King III, actor David Arquette and Herbie Hancock to support the non-profit group Feeding America. People will be asked to donate the food or money they would have spent on lunch to help tackle hunger. For more information go to http://feedingamerica.org/.
On Tuesday night Josh will also perform at the Heroes Red, White, and Blue Inaugural Ball at the Warner Theater which will benefit military families and veterans.
The next few days are going to be EPIC!!! I can only imagine just how excited Josh must be to be involved in this historical event...

Is there a particular place that one can watch all the events that Josh will be performing at next week. Jan. 18 @ 7 p.m We Are One Concert, Jan. 19 @ 11 a.m. Feeding America, Jan. 20 @ 8 p.m. Hero's Red, White, Blue Concert. Also, where can one watch his Feb. 6th @ 8 p.m. performance for Musicares? Thanks for your help.
ReplyDeleteThat's a pretty big question halfpint with so many variables, but from what I've read I believe that HBO will be streaming it on-line, so you should perhaps check www.hbo.com.
ReplyDeleteVariety has also reported that HBO has sold the rights to overseas broadcasters - http://www.variety.com/article/VR1117998617.html?categoryid=14&cs=1
As for the Ball, Feeding America and Musicares - I think it will be case of watching and hoping that something is posted on YouTube... Sorry I can't be more specific.
Thanks for the quick response. Guess I'll be playing station roulette for several days-it will be worth it though!!!
ReplyDeleteJust caught the tail end of Josh singing as I had to go and recover my truck out of the snowy ditch I put it in. What I did catch was awesome. Will catch it again tonite!!! Awesome job Josh.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't actually watch this live, but luckily I could listen to it live on NPR. What an amazing event for Josh to be part of. I can't wait to actually see him sing this. The concert has been really inspiring.
ReplyDeleteJust read a post on Josh's Facebook and someone blogged that Josh cancelled his performance for tomorrow at the Red, White and Blue gala. Is this true?
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard anything about Josh canceling his performance at the gala.
ReplyDeleteWas watching an interview on a NBC station that was televising from one of the inaugural balls and in the background on the screen was Josh singing February Song!!! I'm sure it will be posted on YouTube not very long from now.
