Could this be true...

Is Josh going back to the Royal Albert Hall???

A couple of showbiz discussion boards are mentioning that Josh has been cast in a one-off performance of a Dante Dreams, a new musical by Brian Yorkey that will premiere in a one-off performance on 1 August 2010 at the Royal Albert Hall in London. Other cast members include Adam Garcia and Megan Mullally.

I guess only time will tell if these rumors are true. Tickets go on sale from Tuesday February 2nd.

Visiting Broadway...

Josh felt the love as he caught the Broadway production of Hair on January 22. Looks like someone enjoyed his visit to New York. Peace out

Time for an update...

Josh's latest blog...(the sound wasn't that great, so I plugged in a set of earphones and it made it easier to listen to).

Lot's of news including an update on the process of making the new album, and his new management. I'd actually heard whispers that he'd moved on from Azoff awhile ago, but didn't post this until it was confirmed. Click here to see Josh's new Bio on the QPrime website. For me the last paragraph makes me really excited:

On his future, Groban is open to a host of possibilities. "I am fortunate enough to have had many really big moments in my career. I think the mistake a lot of people in my position make is to always search for the next big thing. I am looking forward to playing some small theaters. I'm looking forward to writing more. I want to delve further into my acting career and explore some of the film and TV opportunities that I haven't had time for. My outlook is to expect the unexpected. And when the next step comes, I'm prepared to take it."

September...

From the authoritative source that is Twitter (LOL) it looks like we won't be seeing a new CD until at least September... I wish it was sooner, but I have to believe that it will be worth it when it arrives.

Happy Anniversary...

Can you believe it's one year ago that Josh was a part of the "WE ARE ONE: THE OBAMA INAUGURAL CELEBRATION AT THE LINCOLN MEMORIAL," that kicked off the inauguration celebrations for President Obama.

This video shows some behind the scenes action which took place just after the We Are One: Obama Inaugural Celebration concert. We get to watch as everyone remains on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, waiting for Obama to make his way down the line of people. This video includes Josh along with the likes of John Legend, Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Queen Latifah, Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, Joe Biden, and many more.

Neil Young "MusiCares" 2010...

As previously mentioned Josh is joining a host of other stars to pay tribute to Neil Young at the 2010 MusiCares gala to be held in Los Angeles on Friday 29 January, 2010.

Grammy.com is now reporting that for the first time ever, portions of the Person of the Year event will be streamed live for the first time ever at GRAMMY.com.

Wonder if we'll get to see Josh??? I guess only time will tell.

Neil Diamond "MusiCares" 2009...

This is about 12 months late, but I hope you enjoy it anyway as we get to hear a (very tiny) snippet of "Play Me" (from about 1:07). And even though it's only from the red carpet, I'll take it.

World-wide appeal...

Ok, so back in October, Josh posted this tweet.

The link took us to this YouTube clip:

In the following clip, it looks like the singer is talking about Josh and his tweet. I'd be grateful if anyone can give me anymore information.

Thanks to Nalina and Regina who have been in contact to let us know he talks about. Nalina's comments are below, and Regina emailed me with the following
He said that he thought about that it would be great if Josh heard his version of February song, but he never believed in it really. So he was shocked when somebody told him that Josh mentioned him on Twitter.

Josh is one of his icons so he is really happy that Josh heard his version and tweeted about it. He said that maybe it's a little thing for Josh but it's a really big thing in his life, because since this tweet he got a lots of nice message from all around the world.

From the crowd (BCS C'ship Game)...

Don't know how I missed this...

I've checked my site and wasn't able to find this clip. Perhaps I was on vacation when it was first posted. I don't know, but anyway I hope you enjoy this glimpse of the recording process of La Tua Semplicit with Placido Domingo for the album Amore Infinito. It's been one of my favorite duets since I first heard it months ago. I just love the melody, the arrangement and of course, the vocals.

Josh & Flea...

Yes, you're not seeing things...

Josh & Flea from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers performed a very unique version of the Star Spangled Banner as part of the pre-game festivities at the Citi BCS National Championship Game.

And from the sounds of it Josh had a great time which started from the limo ride to the game. Below are Josh's two tweets from today:

Happy New Year (Pt.2)....

So, it's almost a week into the new year so are you keeping up with your New Year's Resolution??? I hope Josh is. He wants to "Get out of the house more, get more hobbies and more activities. Get myself out in the sun". Although with finalizing the new album I bet he's finding it a little difficult.

Click here to watch the clip. (Thanks Isabel)
