Chess in Concert DVD news

It's been just over 6 months since Josh performed in the concert version of "Chess" at the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the "Chess in Concert website" has just been updated with the following information:

Chess in Concert is currently being edited for DVD and will be broadcast first in the US in Spring 2009 (date to be confirmed) and then in the UK. The DVD and CD will then be on-sale world-wide.

News from the edit suite is that Chess in Concert looks and sounds terrific…

Having been lucky enough to be in the audience for both nights, I can't wait for this to be released on DVD. There were some sound issues at the RAH, so it's great to read that this hasn't translated to the DVD production.

  2. I know. I can't wait for this either. It's going to be brilliant...

I guess until then, I'll have to make do with "Anthem" from the "A Collection" CD on constant repeat. LOL

  3. well, if Josh could lose his voice with my hours of constant playing the whole album (A Collection), he would!!! hehe

and by the way, Brian McKnight and JG had a great duet (Bridge Over Troubled Water) with David Foster & Friends CD. Stunning!

  4. Well also have JG on (pretty much) constantly, so it is probably a good thing that repeated play doesn't impact on his voice. LOL

The duet with Brian McNight is spectacular. I'm patiently waiting for my copy of the DVD to arrive. Fingers crossed it's in the next day or two.
